1. Who can use Moonbound

You must be 18 or older. By using Moonbound you confirm you are an adult.

2. The service

Moonbound provides access to serialized works of fiction. Some chapters are free; others may be unlocked using coins or credits where available.

3. Your account

Keep your login details secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account.

4. Coins, unlocks & payments

• Coins/credits are a virtual, non-transferable licence to unlock content. They have no real-world monetary value and, except where the law requires otherwise, purchases and unlocked content are non-refundable.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, who is the merchant/seller of record for your purchase.

5. Content

• All Moonbound stories are original works of fiction created with AI assistance and human curation. Names, characters and events are imaginary; any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental.
• Content contains mature romantic themes intended for adult readers.

6. Acceptable use

Content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial reading only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape or republish it, or use the service unlawfully.

7. Intellectual property

Moonbound and its licensors own the app and content. You receive a limited personal licence to read it; all other rights are reserved.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
